Macular Degeneration IV Treatment *

Option #1:

• Zinc (1 mg./ml.): 10 ml.
• Selenium (40 mcg./ml.): 10 ml.
• Lactated Ringer's: 120 ml.

Option #2:

• MTE #5 concentrate: 2 ml.
• Selenium (40 mcg./ml.): 8 ml.
• Lactated Ringer's: 120 ml.

(This option provides about the same amount of zinc and selenium, but also provides copper, chromium, and manganese.)

Directions:

• Give over 30 minute period
• Give twice weekly for four weeks
• Dosage may then be doubled and given weekly as needed for maintenance

Option #3:

• Trace minerals: 1 ml.
• Vitamin C (500 mg./ml.): 5 ml.
• Calcium gluconate: 4 ml.
• Magnesium chloride: 15 ml.
• Vitamin B-complex: 2 cc
• Vitamin B6: 2 ml.
• Selenium: 5 ml.
• Taurine: 150 mg.
• Procaine: 5 ml.
• DMSO 100%: 5 ml.
• Sterile water: 250 ml.

* The amounts of the vitamins, minerals and other substances used in this IV therapy will vary according to each manufacturer's specific osmolarity.
